Advanced airway imaging and sleep screening
3D imaging and a full exam of your airway, jaw, bite and tongue to pinpoint exactly what's going on.
A hidden problem that may be causing your poor sleep:
When your tongue and jaw relax at night, the airway behind them can narrow. Smile House treats the dental side of sleep, a core part of dental longevity.

Why a dentist?
Dr. Jonathan B. Levine, founder
Your airway runs right behind your tongue and jaw. Watch what can happen to it when you fall asleep, and what a custom appliance can do.
Open airway: the tongue and jaw rest forward, and air moves freely.
Illustration for education. Every airway is different, which is why we image yours.
What you've already tried
What we see that others miss
Poor sleep leaves a signature in the mouth.
Most people treat the tiredness. We look for the cause. “The answer may be written in your enamel,” says Dr. Levine.
No single sign confirms a sleep disorder. Together, they form a pattern worth a closer look.
No guessing. The most advanced diagnostics we have, then treatment aimed at the cause. Most plans start with these four.

TMJ and bite optimization
Calm the clenching and jaw tension that can crowd your airway.

Tongue and oral posture training
Teach your tongue to rest where it belongs and your body to breathe through your nose, day and night.

Custom oral appliance, made in-house
Designed by our dentists and crafted by our master technicians in our own lab, then fit and fine-tuned to you.
Can't stand your CPAP? For some people an oral appliance is an option. Your sleep physician decides if it fits you.
Bespoke, never one size fits all
When your plan needs more than the first four, we bring it in.

Request a sleep consult
Two quick steps. A real person from our team will reach out within one business day to hear your story and find a time.
If you snore, wake up tired, clench or grind, breathe through your mouth, or wake with headaches, a sleep consult is a good place to start. If nothing points to your mouth, we'll tell you that too.
No. Sleep apnea is diagnosed by a physician, usually with a sleep study, and we arrange that with our partner sleep physicians when you need it. Oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea follows that diagnosis.
For snoring and for some people with sleep apnea, including those who can't tolerate CPAP, a custom oral appliance is a recognized option. Whether it fits you is decided with your sleep physician, and we coordinate with them.
Cost depends on what your plan includes, and Cody walks you through it before you book. We're out of network: payment is due at your visit, we submit to your insurance for reimbursement, and CareCredit is available.
Please speak with a physician promptly. Pauses in breathing or dangerous daytime sleepiness need medical attention first. You can still request a consult, and we'll call you first.
