55 Warren Street Smile House is a generational family practice led by Dr. Jonathan Levine and his cadre of dentists, orthodontists, technicians, and associates. Upon entering the state-of-the-art facility, which opened just days earlier, you are greeted by a warm and exceedingly friendly staff. I was struck by the "not-so-dentist" vibe of the practice, with its velveteen-appointed seating, ultra-modern fixtures, and pristine advanced equipment geared to all sorts of dental challenges within the comforts of a spa sensibility. The warm burnt orange hues of the interiors and lighting felt like the West Coast, which made for a more laidback ambiance, setting the mood and easing the dental anxiety some of us can have when facing down a drill. With great care, the doctor and staff moved swiftly to address my priorities. I had a burgeoning cavity that the excellent Dr. Sarah Hubert made swift work of and from which her associates, Natalie and Saray, performed the necessary screening measures and cleaning. Part of that screening involved oral cancer assessment, a 3D intraoral scan of the teeth, a tomographic scan of the jaw, and a PH test of the acidity of my mouth. You see, at Smile House, this was a fully integrated assessment of the connection between oral health and its influence on the wellness of other systems in the body. As Saray pointed out, the mission is to integrate the dental aspect back into the biological systems that correlate to the status of our oral condition. Such an integration places teeth back into the client's comprehension that they are living parts of our biology and critical to our overall physical health downstream. After the deep cleaning, oral assessment, and developing a plan for my progressive treatments, I was confident I could continue their corrective measure with my daily habits. Uniquely, with Smile's onsite dental lab and master ceramicists, the possibilities of dental wellness can go further into the cosmetic realm. Speaking of tech, I am most excited about their brand new take-home red light device for INSIDE my mouth- my red light-loving mind is blown. I will be wearing it alongside my Dr Dennis Gross mask and various other anti-aging devices from this day forward.

I should have known when I laid in a massage chair, that this was going to be a next level cleaning appt. The massage chair, the weighted blanket to help my zen, to the buccal tension facial massage I got at the end of my appt- because, excuse me, I came in for a teeth cleaning and left feeling like I just left the day spa. Aside from my teeth having complete glow up, my tension? Gone. Anxiety? Who’s she? My jawline? Low key snatched??

For context, most dentist appts end in a couple tears for me, because of I am prone to cavities and nobody likes drills in their mouth. I left this appt smiling, even beaming, although i learned that I have do have another cavity lol

I just left Smile House and I'm almost in shock, because I though dentist was a place you go to sit under a white hospital light and feel miserable. This was such a luxurious and hospitable experience. Everyone was so nice, I had an Xray and consultation done that took less than 15 minutes.
