Tap what fits

What do you want to improve?

Your mouth is connected to how you sleep, recover, feel and smile. Tap what matters to you and we'll add it to your request.

A typical checkup looks at your teeth. Mouth Mapping reads the whole system.

A standard checkup focuses on your teeth and what's visible. It's built to find problems, usually one at a time.

A standard checkup, compared with a Mouth Mapping at Smile House. Every practice differs.

We map everything. Then we fix what matters.

No guessing. One visit reads all five pillars of your oral health with our most advanced diagnostics. Then we treat the cause.

Who you'll see

Most people get one dentist. With Mouth Mapping, a team of specialists reads your map together and builds one plan, reviewed by Dr. Levine. Aesthetic and holistic dentistry, gums, orthodontics, sleep and airway, jaw care and our own lab, all under one roof.

Good questions.

What does it cost, and is it worth it?+

The full Mouth Mapping is $1,395: an unhurried two hours with one of the most comprehensive exams in dentistry, including your cleaning, 3D and bite scans, two saliva tests, and a Blueprint built by a team of specialists. For many of our patients, it's the first time anyone has fully answered their questions. Want to start simpler? A new patient visit with cleaning, exam and X-rays is $595. We're out of network: you pay at your visit, and we submit to your insurance for any reimbursement you're entitled to. CareCredit financing is available, and Cody walks you through your price before anything is booked.

Can I come for a second opinion?+

Yes. If what you've been told doesn't add up, Mouth Mapping gives you the full picture and a clear explanation, so you can decide with confidence.

Thinking about veneers or a smile makeover. Should I start here?+

Yes, it's the best place to start. A beautiful smile lasts when it's built on healthy bone, healthy gums and a balanced bite. Mouth Mapping gives Dr. Levine, a leader in aesthetic dentistry since the late 1980s, and our aesthetic team the full picture first. Then your shape, color, symmetry and proportions are designed around it.

Will you find a bunch of things and try to sell me treatment?+

No. We listen first, then recommend. You get the full picture and a plan in order of what matters most, gentlest options first. Every option is priced before anything begins, nothing is done the same day without your yes, and you can take your plan home and think about it.

How is this different from my regular checkup?+

A typical checkup focuses on your teeth and gums. Mouth Mapping adds a 3D scan of your jaw and airway, a digital bite scan, two saliva tests and a mouth-body analysis, over 100 biomarkers in all, then puts it all into one Blueprint with a plan from our specialists.

Nothing hurts. Is this for me?+

Yes, that's the point. Most problems in the mouth start quietly. Mouth Mapping helps catch them while they're small and simple to manage. Ale's findings were hers. Yours might be a clean bill of health and a plan to keep it.

How long is the visit, and what do I leave with?+

About two hours, in one appointment. You leave with your Mouth Mapping Blueprint: your Mouth Map Score, all five pillars, how your mouth connects to your body, and a 12-month plan. Your full Bristle microbiome results follow in about two weeks. It's yours to keep and share with your physician.

Is the 3D scan safe?+

Yes. Our 3D CBCT is the newest generation of dental imaging and uses far less radiation than a medical CT scan. It's the standard of care for the highest-quality diagnostic imaging, takes under a minute, and shows your jaw, joints and airway in 3D. Pregnant or think you might be? Let us know first.

What's in the saliva tests?+

Two quick, painless saliva samples. Oral Genome checks seven key biomarkers, like nitric oxide and pH, at your visit, so those results are in your Blueprint the same day, along with your oral cancer screening. Bristle maps your full oral microbiome; those results come back in about two weeks, and we go over anything that matters with you. We'll text you simple prep instructions before your visit.

Who will I see?+

Our doctors and specialists, with every plan reviewed by Dr. Levine. If your map points to gums, sleep, bite or alignment, our specialists join your plan, all under one roof.

Can I keep my own dentist?+

Yes. You're welcome to come just for Mouth Mapping. With your permission, we're happy to share your Blueprint with your dentist or physician.

Which location should I choose?+

Both offer Mouth Mapping: Smile House Tribeca at 55 Warren Street, and our Upper East Side office, JBL NYC, a Smile House clinic. Not sure? Pick "Help me choose" and we'll suggest the best fit.

How often should I get a Mouth Map?+

We recommend once a year. Your first one becomes your baseline, so each year you can see what improved and catch changes early.

What happens after I send a request?+

Cody or someone on our care team texts or calls within one business day to answer questions, confirm your price and find a time. Nothing is booked until we talk.
